Coaches

Head Golf Coach – Dennis Attaway - Coach Attaway graduated from the University of Alabama in 1990 and then earned his Master’s degree from Georgia State University, majoring in Secondary Education/Mathematics. Coach Attaway came to Harrison High School in 2006, serving as an assistant football coach for two years. Prior to coming to Harrison High School, Coach Attaway was an assistant football coach at North Cobb High School for 16 years. For eight of those years, he was also North Cobb’s head girl’s basketball coach. He and his wife Jennifer, have two children, Hannah and Logan.

Assistant Golf Coach – David Hines- Coach Hines is a graduate of Sprayberry High School and attended the University of Georgia.  He has been with the Hoya golf program since 2005 and has been teaching physical education and coaching for over 18 years.  He is currently the head football coach at Harrison High School. David and his wife Susie have two children, Morgan and Kylie.

Assistant Golf Coach – Brent Haygood- Coach Haygood graduated from Pebblebrook High School in 1989. He received his B.S. degree from Georgia College in 1993, majoring in health and physical education. He has served as football coach and varsity track coack at Dodge High School and spent 6 years at Pebblebrook High School as a varsity assistant coach in football, wrestling, track, and golf. He followed that up with 3 years coaching football and golf at McEachern High School. Coach Haygood began his coaching career at Harrison High School in football and golf in 2008-2009. He is married to wife Julie and they have two children, Emma and Josh.
